Tips for creating a home spa atmosphere:
We both want your experience to be the very best. I recommend a room which is comfortable and private.
You may want to put the heating on to warm up the space beforehand. This ensures you’ll be comfortable throughout the treatment.
I will provide everything needed, including a massage table, towels, candles and a selection of oils.
Feel free to play your own relaxing music (or settle in and enjoy mine). Burning scented candles or oils during your treatment helps to unwind and create a home spa environment.
Tailoring the massage to your requirements:
In order to tailor your treatment to your specific needs, please complete your consultation form or contact me with any requests regarding your treatment.
Ensure that I am aware of any injuries and allergies you have, as well as any areas of the body you would like me to give extra attention too.
Please also make me aware of the pressure you wish to be applied before and during the treatment. Feel free to let me know if you wish for this to change.
If you would prefer for your treatment to be carried out in complete silence, do make me aware of this in your consultation or at the beginning of your treatment.
Before your treatment:
I recommend having a hot shower or bath. This can help to relax your muscles before the treatment begins. This may also help to improve muscle recovery afterwards.
During your treatment:
I will carry out the requested treatment, working on each part of the body while ensuring that the rest is covered. I will assist you in turning under the towel if and when necessary.
During your massage, I will check-in with you regarding pressure and your general comfort.
After your treatment:
Once your treatment is complete, I will leave the room to allow you to rise in your own time. I’ll then pack away my equipment…
leaving you to relax and enjoy the benefits of your treatment.
If you have any questions before hand, feel free to ask.
Looking forward seeing you,
Sam

If you have booked a treatment that requires the use of a massage bed, prepare a space large enough for the massage bed, '6ft long and 2ft wide', with room for a small table and enough room for me to move around the massage bed.
If you have booked an Indian head massage any space which can fit a stool will be fine.
I will bring everything else needed for your treatment, including a massage table, towels, candles and a selection of oils.
My massages treatments include the use of oils. So I recommend that you undress to your underwear for the treatment, to avoid any oil getting onto clothing. Or simply to a level which you are comfortable with.
I will leave the room while you undress and lie down on the couch, position yourself stomach facing down, with the towel covered over you.
Please note, it is required that underwear is worn throughout all treatments.
I advise that you seek advice from a medical practitioner regarding whether massage therapy is appropriate for certain medical conditions. Please make me aware of any medical condition during your consultation.
